i need help with an older model t.v.?
i just recently acquired an rca g35850ck. it is an older model. last night my t.v. shut itself off for no apparent reason. i figured i would wait until today to see what happened. i thught maybe the timer was set or something similar to that. when i went to turn it on, it wouldnt power up. i tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, holding both ends of the cord in the sockets, pretty much anything i could think of without taking it apart.
has this happened to anyone before?
if so how did you fix it? what was wrong?
any suggestions on what to do?

That's a CTC 169 chassis.....(look on the tag on the back)
If it is, then all you can do is HOPE ONLY the HORIZONTAL OUTPUT TRANSISTOR FAILED.......
Because ALL the parts are no longer available to repair the CTC 169 chassis...
They stopped making parts for it.....
