Smith and Wesson "Special Ops" knife?
We found a knife out in the parking lot of a bar (yes a bar), and it has the Smith and wesson logo on it, and it has the words "Special ops on it"
The knife handle is open framed kind,
The blade goes straight (Say you were following the bottom of the blade, where the edge is on it) and then it goes out diagonally (Edge still on it) and then it goes back to the handle.
Anyone know what this thing is??
That sounds exactly like a Tanto blade to me. This blade was taken from, in my opinion and most other people's opinions, the strongest and most useful sword of all time; the Katana. These are so high quality and I can't imagine them even BREAKING AT ALL. Out of luck, you've got yourself one expensive and durable knife. Now I could give you a lecture about how they made Katanas and why they were so effective, so I'll give it to you in a nutshell: They were comprised of two metals, that put together, were a little flimsy but VERY tough. They were so successful do to the fact that they never break, they don't bend as much as an english long-sword (these are the second best swords ever made) would. They also have a nice curve that allows more slashing and penetration power, and don't forget, it's the most well built sword EVER. If you got a real katana, it could take months even years to make, and would go for tens of thousands of dollars (now I'm talking about a real Katana, not a replica from China or the U.S.; these things are Japanese). I'm sure this knife didn't take that long to make and the price is definetely not that high, but it's the most durable blade I can think of. If you want to know the exact model number of the knife it is most likely: SW-108E. These things only for about $80, but again, and I can't stress enough the fact that out of dumb luck, you have one hell of a good quality knife. Congrats!
