Police Situation HELP!?
OK yesterday was Halloween and I was going as Jason Vorheese and I didn't have any money for a plastic machete so I took a real butcher knife from my moms knife collection thinking I did it with a real machete before so I wouldn't get caught needless to say I was walking down the block and I turn around I see a cop starting to take out his gun and more swarming from everywhere. It happened so fast I put down the knife took off my mask and backed up to the wall and they frisked me and asked what the **** I was thinking and I explained to them my situation and I told them I was just 15, he told me he thought I had no cruel intentions and he let me off with a warning. They took the knife and my info and they let me go. He told me that I was scaring people. I believed I was snitched on but more to the point do you think that they'll call my parents or it will go on my record?
You were warned. A report will be written because the confiscated the knife, but you were not formerly charged with any crime.
Sounds like someone saw you walking with the knife and called and complain. That and remember... Jason is a popular character. Though you might have not been the one scaring people, if the police got a complaint about someone in a costume scaring people and they find you matching the description and carrying a real knife, they are going to make the situation safe. Next time, don't take a real knife out with you.
