What oil should i use to oil my victorinox swiss army knife? If i were to use it with foodstuffs, what oil should i use? Is cooking oil advisable, though i have heard of it being sticky.

Go to the drug store and find a bottle of "mineral oil".

Some of the advice here is not the best. Some oils contain teflon and you do NOT want to be ingesting that stuff...even in small amounts!
