strider knife
Question for the people out there who like knives?

Are Strider SNG's and Chris Reeve Sabenzas worth the money?

Strider SNG http://www.mdtactical.com/images/strider/SnG-SP%20CB.JPG
About 400 dollars

Sebenza: http://www.nordicknives.com/images3/CRK_LS21.jpg
Also about 400 dollars.

In my opinion, no -- unless you are a serious outdoorsman who has to have something ultra-dependable and tough.

Most people who just need an all-purpose pocketknife are generally as well off with a regular Buck or Case.

There are a lot of good companies making quality knives. For the money, I especially like Columbia Rivr Knife & Tool as a knife maker. I have three of them and they are VERY well-made.

More money usually buys better quality, but whether you really need that much quality, for most people, is an entirely different question.
