the night stops cold
the pain overcomes me
i let out a cry
not a cry for help
a cry for forgiveness
no answer
i reach for something
anything at all
nothings there
no ones there
no one listens
thoughts racing
i reach again
i grab something
i grab it tightly
i dont let go
held to my neck
my steel savior
my key out
my second chance
someones laughing
someones smiling
im smiling
the knife kisses my throat
i smile forever
im only 13 so i kno it sucks
but any constructive criticizm or comments r welcome
this poem isnt about cutting
and i dont cut any more
and i cant write a poem bout something i dont feel
if i try to write a happy poem it will sound fake
and telling some1 there poem sucks and its too emo is NOT constructive criticism
constructive criticism is saying that it doesnt flow right or it needs more detail
Its good overall a little rough. You could do with taking out some lines like 'no answer' because you mention later on no one is listening...get what I mean. But yes it is deep, could be deeper, it is strong could be stronger.
Very good for a rough though, I love it.
