Lansky knife sharpener - Diamond stones - worth the cost?

Have standard Lansky system and it works ok on carbon steel blades. Not so well on tougher stainless like AUS 8. Thinking of buying diamond stones but don't know if they work enough better to justify costs.

I have just recently purchased the diamond stones and I love them I have never been able to put such an edge on my knives and yes it is worth every penny
