How to clean a SCUBA knife and it's plastic/rubber leg sheath?
Simple enough. Got a SCUBA knife as a gift from a friend who moved, so I don't have it's packaging or instructions to care for it.
It does smell a little funky, since I think he used it then didn't clean it completely about 4 months ago.
Curious how I could clean it. Just soak it in some water w/ bleach? Or will that weakn the rubber on the knife hilt and the plastic/rubber on the sheath? Will a normal dishwasher washing work?
Just hand wash it with a mild soap, and dry it with a cloth.
After dives, just rinse in fresh water.
