What Is Better For A KA-BAR Knife Cover/Holder?

What would be better for a Ka-Bar Knife Sheath/Cover. It is because I'm buying a Ka-Bar Knife and I would like to know which one do you prefer and you think is better.

I love Ka-Bars you have made a good choice. Definitely go with the glass filled nylon. The reason being is you want a sheath that holds the knife in place as tightly as reasonable. I was hiking in the Gila Wilderness with a group of young men many years ago. One of them was carrying a hunting knife in a leather sheath, as shown. He was running down a hill and slipped and fell. In the process of sliding down the hill on his stomach the knife came out of the sheath and stabbed him just under the rib cage. I was left applying pressure while others ran for help. It resulted in a helicopter medivac. He fully recovered, but this taught me the need for a proper sheath.
