Study guide question help?
Hey guys.. I gotta take a big city PD written test next month and they issued us a study guide and these 2 questions, I need some assistance on..
While walking the beat..
A. A woman is in the middle of a busy street fixing her flat tire.
B. A fender-bender has occurred on the side of a nearby street corner.
C. A car is going down the road without a muffler or license plate.
I chose letter A.. common sense I guess?
A. 2-year old child is standing near the deep end of a crowded public pool with no
supervision.
B. A woman is running from a teenager who is carrying a knife.
C. A man is pouring a container of waste oil into a sewerage drain.
I chose "A" as well.. common sense, because life endangerment right?
ALSO.. I'm a little rough on "recognizing transformed objects" where a suspect has a picture and then he modifies himself.. Any tips?
WHICH INCIDENT TAKES PRIORITY I MEAN
In the first example, it would be A , B, then C for the second one, B, A, then C. Someone being chased by a knife is more urgent than someone standing by a pool where there are others available to help. The knife poses an imminent threat, where the pool only poses the potential.
