Not specifically, no. But to understand the Kukri, understand the wielder.

Of particular interest is the concept of stabbing to the gut, then rising up as they double over to cut the throat.
I'd say the best resource would be to find a Ghurka, or to find if there are copies of journals of men who served with their regiments under British rule.
