I'm looking to buy a set of kitchen knives, any suggestions on brand?
Ideally i'd like to buy a set of knives with a wooden block. I'm not that much of a cook so I don't need anything expensive but i'd like to buy something to have for when I do cook. Any suggestions on which brands are good? Thanks!
I have used J.A. Henckels, Wusthof, and Viking knives, they are all quality products. My personal preference is Wusthof Classic, I like the balance and feel it has to it. Stay away from "serrated" or "ever sharp" products they just don't make the cut (ha!).
I recently added a Wusthof 7" Santoku to our set and both my wife and I love it. Good Luck in choosing and be careful these are professional knives
