storing kitchen knives?
I'm trying to figure out a way to make a "Kapoosh"

without having to spend a lot of money. Basically it's a knife block that can hold nearly any smaller kitchen knife (it uses hundreds of what appear to be stiff yet flexible fibers. I'm reminded of bristles of a broom. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how to go about making something like this?

Ok, I saw this done in a mag. Make a wooden box that is about 4" square and 8" tall (no top, just a bottom). Next fill it with thin bamboo skewers that they sell in super markets etc. I think they said it would take like 1000 skewers to fill the box.
You can also fill the box with dry beans, lintels etc.
