How do you like this idea for knife concealment?

The knife in question is strapped to the persons thigh. You would cut the bottom out of the pocket, fixing it so that the handle is where the pocket used to be. All you would do is reach into your pocket and pull the knife out of its sheath. Do you think it is a good idea for carrying a knife in a place where it is deemed 'unacceptable'? How would you strap it to your leg? What better way would you hide a knife?

It wouldn't hold well on your thigh. Your leg tapers down. Better to have a sheath that attaches to the inside of your pants or comes up over the top of your pants and attaches to your belt. Or something like a garter belt so that it is held up by your waist.

It will be very noticeable when sitting.
