How do i get rid of roaches that keep appearing in my utensil drawer?
In our fork, spoon, knife etc. Drawer these huge palmetto bugs keep appearing. I mean they are crawling all over the stuff we put in our mouth. We have taken apart the drawer many times and sprayed it with roach spray. But they keep coming back. The house is an older house that was renovated. We are renting it. There shouldn't be roaches in a 3k a month house. Is this our responsiblity or the landlords?
its a house on a big lot so no neighbors nearby..and they are giant palmetto bugs, the drawer is cleaner than anything in the house lol
First of all, I am sure you are washing the utensils, again, as you take them out of the drawer to use them? To get rid of the bugs in the drawer, you have to get rid of all the bugs. This is a hard and detailed process which I will email you if you want (Y/A won't let me submit it). As far as the drawer (they will come back if you only treat the drawer) take it out and spray a residual spray all around inside the cabinet dust with boric acid, put some gel bait and a roach motel in their, scrub the drawer inside and out (with something containing bleach is better), especially the joints of it, they live on their own poo and it's probably in the joints.Spray it down after it dries, put some boric acid, gel bait and a roach motel in their, that drawer will be bug free (for a while)!
