what is a great brand of cutlery?
A friend of mine is an excellent cook and loves to entertain but ironically enough does not have any good cutlery. The knives set he does have is really bad quality and is also in bad condition and incomplete. He doesn't even have a serrated knife to cut tomatoes or bread with. Some friends and I were thinking about pitching in and getting him a really good set of knives for his kitchen. I, for some reason, was elected to spearhead this operation, but I know very little about knives and the set I have was something I got on sale at Target. Since it is a gift, my friends and I were hoping to get our friend a set of high end knives (not a cheap set like the one I have) that would be a pleasure to use and would hold up for a long time. Does anyone know of any good brands of kitchen knives? Thank you for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for any help.
Wusthof. I've been using mine for 9 years and they're beautiful, sharp, and high quality. I use "Wusthof Classic."
