I am addicted to knives. Is this bad?
No I don't mean that I'm a cutter.
I mean that I like to buy and carry knives.
I carry a knife daily as a tool to open boxes and peel apples etc. I however seem to be on an endless quest for the perfect knife.
I know this sounds irrational and silly to most people but I don't see it as harmful. I collect pocket knives made by Benchmade and Spyderco. You can see these knives at Benchmade.com and Spyderco.com.
I don't constantly purchase knives to the point where I don't have money for food or mortgage or things like that. I just really like the craftsmanship of a good knife. And I don't consider the junk that is sold on QVC or ShopAtHome to be good quality. It's junk.
Is this a bad thing? I mean I somewhat can justify it by saying, well at least I'm not out drinking or at strip clubs or whatever, but I'm not sure if that is right or not.
I'm happily married and have a wonderful little girl.
