Is the Benchmade Model 42 illegal in the state of Virginia?

Butterfly knives are alloud but the 42 has a spring latch so idk if thats considered automatic in the switchblade act

The Spring Latch is not considered automatic.

The latch holds the knife closed, but if you squeeze the handles together, the latch will pop open, basically allowing your knife to be flipped open. The opening of the knife is done completely by the user, not the spring.
