How can I replace (or have repaired) my pocket knife's main blade easiest?

I seem to have bad luck with pocket knives. When I was younger my father gave me a Swiss Army Knife. While whittling out pieces of wood from a tree (so I suspect, I didn't realize until later), the blade bent at the tip. A welder of some sort tried to fix it, but it was returned to me with a broken blade, half of it gone. It is a very good knife and I am wondering whether or not I can get a replacement blade. since pocket knives are manufacturd anyway I figured there must be a way for someone to take it apart and simply replace the blade. I cannot find the model on the Swissarmy site, and simply want this knife repaired if possible. Thanks.
