Is it over the top if I carry a knife and gun when I walk home?
There have been several kidnappings in this area by the lake in the past few months.
My name's Courtney and I am 21, i just got a job and I am saving up for a car. My shift ends late so I get off the bus alone and walk home, about a 15 minute walk. I work as a nurse and love my job.
But I am worried about being attacked, so I started carrying a knife with me around. I bought a mini knife holster which goes around my ankle perfectly, in case of any emergency.
Now I also started to carry around a gun.
Is it over the top?
Nothing is over the top when it comes to personal safety, especially, when you are a young woman. I hope you have a valid license for the gun. Though you might consider making some friends in work who can give you a ride. Have a safe life...
