After field dressing game, take steps to protect the meat. One of these steps is:
a.Cover the body with cheesecloth to keep it clean.
b.Wash the body cavity with lots of fresh water.
c.Hang the animal in a warm, sunny spot.
d.Rub the exposed meat with moss or dry leaves.
a is the answer.
-cheesecloth will keep bugs out and is breathable to help it cool which is very helpful if you can't take care of the carcass right away
-fresh water likely will not be available in the woods or field
-meat needs to be cooled, not warmed
-rubbing the meat with moss & leaves will only make a mess and introduce a lot of unwanted bacteria
